Educational programme for sustainable management and recycling of fishing gear and plastics
- The educational programme provides students with practical, scientifically based knowledge to help them manage and recycle fishing gear and plastics sustainably. This modular continuing education programme is aimed at students, professionals and managers in the fields of fisheries, waste management and public administration. Core content includes waste management, material identification and preparation, processing methods, and environmental and material analysis. Particular emphasis is placed on developing economically and ecologically sustainable solutions, practical exercises and comprehensive quality assurance. The programme supports the development of the competencies required for the responsible handling of fishery-specific plastics, helping to promote the sustainable use of resources.
